Courteney Cox is back on TV in a brand-new comedy — and ET talks to the former "Friends" star about playing a cougar in the new ABC series, "Cougar Town"! "A cougar is a lady in her 40s who is going out with younger men," Courteney tells ET. "It is not the negative [a woman who has had too much] plastic surgery in her 50s. It is really a woman with confidence that does that." In "Cougar Town," Courteney plays a 40-something woman trying to get on with her life following an ugly divorce. The raven-haired beauty arrived at the event in all black, looking svelte and sophisticated, while handsome hubby Ashton Kutcher also donned black, accompanying Demi's darling daughter Tallulah Belle, who wore an elegant navy cocktail dress. Demi spoke to ET about working with another daughter, Rumer Willis, who stars in her short film 'Streak.' "Cougar Town"'s Courteney Cox, named "Hot Mama," graces the cover of this special issue of the magazine. She told ET of her pictorial, "I like it. I think it’s great I haven't seen the actual one, but I saw a Xerox of it and it looked good." Co-star Ian Gomez commented, "Finally, someone's realized that she's hot. Upset that her two best friends don't get along but determined to have a fun birthday nonetheless, Jules convinces Ellie (Christa Miller) and Laurie ( Busy Philipps) to go on a wild birthday weekend away, which they do, begrudgingly. Jules packs items from her wardrobe that she doesn't normally wear -- like a bustier that could fit right in to a Whitesnake video -- but Laurie tells her not to worry, she won't need anything for their next activity. Earlier this month, ET reported the news that former "Friends" and "Dirt" star Courteney Cox was joining "Scrubs" when the series makes its move to ABC. Courteney will be playing the new Chief of Medicine at the show's fictional Sacred Heart Hospital. At a press conference to promote the new season, executive producer Bill Lawrence had the following to say about her role: "Right now while we are here doing this, Courteney is back at the hospital with her face jammed into a fake bloody corpse in a fantasy as if she lived inside some guy's stomach. We literally said, 'Courteney, see you tomorrow.' And with gunk all over her face, she said, 'See you tomorrow.'" And series star Zach Braff, who just met Courteney for the first time on Monday, says, "She is really doing a great job of getting right up to speed with the rest of us who have been a family for so long. Some of the guest stars we have had over the eight years aren't as courageous and haven't been able to jump in so fast and get up to speed. We have her doing some really goofy stuff.
