Iman walked down the runway for the first time in the Fall/Winter 2006 campaign for fashion brands like Custo Barcelona and DKNY, since then she has modelled for top brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Issey Miyake, Kenzo, Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Bottega Veneta, Dsquared2, Hèrmes, Moschino, Oscar de la Renta and Stella McCartney. In her short career, she has appeared in advertising campaigns with Bottega Veneta and United Colors of Benetton.
In the May 2007 issue of American Vogue she was featured on the cover with fellow models Doutzen Kroes, Caroline Trentini, Raquel Zimmermann, Sasha Pivovarova, Agyness Deyn, Coco Rocha, Jessica Stam, Hilary Rhoda, and Lily Donaldson as the new crop of supermodels.
