An American NASCAR driver, Carl Edwards has won a number of races on the Nextel Cup and Busch Series circuits including the Golden Corral 500, Pocono 500, Bass Pro Shops MBNA 500, Dickies 500, Aaron's 312, Funai 250, Meijer 300 presented by Oreo and Ameriquest 300, all in 2005. He also won a number of races in the Craftsman Truck Series in 2003 and 2004.
Carl Edwards has found a way to try to mask the frustration of his winless NASCAR Sprint Cup season. "I've kind of tried to think of it differently," Edwards said. "It's not that we haven't had no wins this season, it's just that we've had nine wins over the past two. That sounds a lot better."

Instead of thinking about no wins this season, he considers nine wins over the last two years. While that sounds better, it still doesn't erase that very noticeable zero in 2009.
