A native of Atlanta, Georgia, he attended Kennesaw State University before leaving school to pursue acting full time.

While still living in Atlanta, Redford landed a guest-starring role on the television series Blue Collar TV. He also performed stunts in several films that were shot in the Atlanta area.

Redford has appeared in the feature films Preserving Sweet, Slip and The Other Side. He recently completed filming a role in the feature film, Voodoo Moon, starring Charisma Carpenter.

Redford gained recognition when he took on the role of Scott Grainger on CBS's The Young and the Restless.
