An American musician, Billy Corgan is best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the alternative rock band
Smashing Pumpkins. In addition to his work with the Pumpkins, Corgan has performed solo and with another band he created called Zwan.
Billy Corgan has tapped 19-year-old drummer Mike Byrne as the replacement for Jimmy Chamberlin in The Smashing Pumpkins.
