Andrea grew up in Utah where she was the youngest of five girls. Her mom put her into dance when she was just two years old, and Andrea was competing by age six. She never questioned what she would do when she grew up.

Unlike most dancers, Andrea does not specialize in one area of ballroom dance - she is acclaimed in both standard and Latin. She believes her concentration on detail is her strength. Andrea is also known for her elegance on the dance floor and for her versatility.

She says that the greatest joy in dancing is being able to share what she loves with the audience.
